{"id":309,"date":"2025-04-27T21:53:58","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T04:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pandosyneighbourhood.ca\/?page_id=309"},"modified":"2026-07-21T20:47:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T03:47:48","slug":"festival-2025","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pandosyneighbourhood.ca\/index.php\/festival-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Update on the 2026 Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>A New Direction for its Annual \u2018Imagine Pandosy Art Festival\u2019 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pandosy Neighbourhood Association (PNA), are pleased to announce that&nbsp;after hosting the \u201cImagine Pandosy Arts Festival and Gallery Stroll\u201d for six successful years, the event&nbsp; will undergo a rebranding period this year. At the beginning of 2027, the event will be defined going&nbsp; forward as \u201cThe Imagine Pandosy Community Festival\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its inception in 2021, the intent of the festival was to provide an event where residents and visitors of our community can engage with one another through participation in the Arts. Inclusive to both emerging and professional levels of the Artists &amp; Crafters, festival registrants were given the opportunity to showcase their talents and works in the festivals held in the years that followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Annually held as an outdoor event along the Pandosy strip, between Raymer and KLO, it was a wonderful way to also promote local businesses in the area. As each year passed, the event grew and evolved in response to the community\u2019s overall feedback received by the festival committee. Survey results gathered post-festival in 2024 suggested the expansion of the event\u2019s offerings to include other areas of the Arts, more ways to demonstrate inclusivity and visibility of diverse groups and family-oriented displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The 2025 Imagine Pandosy Festival planning focused on retaining the existing base and promoting continuity, as both the festival and the PNA had respectively undergone a restructure of their online presence and welcomed new PNA board members. With this feedback well in hand, the 2026 Festival Committee invested time to transparently brainstorm and discuss the what the festival\u2019s purpose and role is at its origin, and what it represented for the residents in our community. Out of those meetings came a fundamental, PNA-aligned desire to reaffirm and reinforce the priority to hold a Pandosy-Focused community event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>The Imagine Pandosy Community Festival<\/strong><br><em>\u201cCelebrating the Diversity of our Neighbourhood.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Our Mission Statement:<\/span><\/strong><br>Our festival aims to bring people together to celebrate the inspiring creativity of artists, crafters, and<br>community builders within the Pandosy community.
