Vice Chair

Role Summary: The Vice Chair supports the Chair and assumes leadership responsibilities in the chair’s absence. This role is instrumental in maintaining continuity and assisting with the association’s overall governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chair in leading the association and presiding over meetings when needed.

• Support strategic planning and key initiatives.

• Ensure effective communication between board members and committees.

• Act as a signing officer if required.

• Take on special projects or leadership roles as assigned by the Chair.

• Act as a signing officer for financial transactions.

• Be prepared to assume Chair responsibilities and duties in the event that the Chair is absent or unavailable to do so.

Helpful Skills (Not Required):

• Leadership and problem-solving

• Strong communication and collaboration

• Ability to mediate and support decision-making

Time Commitment:

• Approximately 4-6 hours per month

• Attend Board meetings and events as needed
